How ClickerRank works

Every valid human push counts as one point. More pushes = higher rank. Nothing mysterious.

One click = one push

Click PUSH and a product's score goes up by exactly one. How often you can click again depends on whether it's your own product — see the two rules below.

Your own product: no limit

Self-promotion is part of the game. Submit your product, then sit there and push it yourself as fast as you like. Rally your users to push it too. That's the whole idea.

Someone else's product: once every 5s

Pushing a product you didn't make is limited to one push every 5 seconds — enforced by the server, and the PUSH button itself shows a countdown and disables while you wait. This keeps the board from being decided by whoever scripts the fastest clicker on someone else's behalf.

Humans only

Scripts, bots, browser macros, and automated clickers are not allowed. Every push is evaluated server-side for signs of automation — see the anti-bot details below. Want more pushes than you can click yourself? Buy them — see Boost below.

Ranking is transparent

Rank = valid pushes, descending. That's it. Comments, followers, account age, and product age never affect rank. No hidden algorithm.

Boards reset

Today and This Week give every product another shot at the top — an established leader on All Time doesn't automatically dominate the daily or weekly board.

Ties are broken fairly

Equal push counts are broken by earlier submission date, as a final deterministic fallback. Nothing about tie-breaking is hidden either.

The anti-bot system, briefly

Fast clicking is expected and welcomed — normal humans can push up to about 8 times a second in bursts. What we watch for is the fingerprint of automation: perfectly uniform intervals between clicks, impossibly fast sustained rates, many accounts pushing from one origin, or sustained volume far beyond what a person clicking a button could realistically produce. Every push is validated on the server — the client never decides whether a push counts. Suspicious activity gets a quick human-verification check rather than an instant ban; we never permanently ban an account just for clicking quickly.

Time windows

"Today" resets at 00:00 UTC. "This Week" runs Monday through Sunday, UTC. All times on ClickerRank use UTC (UTC) as the single source of truth, so the reset happens at the same moment for everyone regardless of where they are.

Boost: buy clicks

Pick a product, drag a slider to any quantity from 4,999 to 999,999 clicks, pay once, and the points land on that product immediately — no subscription, no waiting. The Boost page shows exactly how many clicks that product needs to hit #1 site-wide — Today, This Week, and All Time — before you decide how many to buy. Bigger purchases cost less per click.
